Bloglet

Bloglet is one of the competitors of Blogarithm. They launched about the same time, in early 2002. For a while, Bloglet was a reliable service, but over the past several months it has become unstable and many people have complained that they have not been receiving updates. To help folks out, Blogarithm has created the Bloglet Move Tool which will move all subscribers to Blogarithm in one step. It can be used to move multiple blogs at once, and your subscribers don't need to do anything -- they will just begin receiving Blogarithm notifications about your blog.

For more on Bloglet's problems, see the following articles:

"Bloglet...seems to have kicked the bucket"

"Bloglet is very unreliable"

"I have given up on Bloglet entirely" (in the comments).

Many folks (myself included) have tried calling and writing Monsur Hossain, Bloglet's creator, but he isn't answering. It seems like Bloglet will gradually fade from the scene, as it is not being maintained. Moving to another service is a wise move for bloggers who want their readers to receive regular notifications. Of course, I recommend moving to Blogarithm.
